My sprint starts and I stand up

I am the humble agent of change

I am the keeper of time boxes

I am the warden of the sprint

I am the siege engineer to impediments

I am the diffuser of superfluous politics

I am the arbiter of small batches and short cycles

I am the shield that guards the team of development

I am the servant who leads through influence and listening

I surrender all my previous titles for the cause

I intend to write no stories, develop no code, test no lines

I abide in the Agile Manifesto

I practice minimal required bureaucracy

I am vigilant, unremitting, wary, & watchful

I am the guardian of the mindset
